Lauren Schellinger is a board-certified behavior analyst and a long-time dog owner. She started dog training when she and her husband, Doug, started fostering dogs with behavior issues. But the dog trainer they tried to work with wasn’t working through behavior in a way that made sense. They found Philly Unleashed after that, and started training when they brought MJ Watson Barker home after losing their first dog together, Sandy. Training continued to be a priority when Lauren found out that she was pregnant.
